You get the beauty of an immaculate, magazine-worthy home; the comfort of homemade, award-worthy breakfasts, treats and cocktails, all while being hosted by friend/family-worthy inn keeper extraordinaires. Missy and John are truly knowledgeable and experienced with the bourbon culture, keeping current and sharing what they know. This certainly contributed to the bourbon bounty we brought home. celebrating 10 years of Chateau Bourbon! 🎉🥃
This business idea sprang from our heads and hearts just over a decade ago out of two of our shared passions: travel and bringing people together.
During our own travels, we`d always sought out places to stay feel authentic, soulful, and rooted in the heart of a destination. At home, we`d been the consummate entertainers...cooking, hosting, and creating spaces where people could gather, relax, laugh, and feel cared for.
✨So we took a chance on an idea, a dream, to put these passions and talents in play...✨
Those two loves came together to create Chateau Bourbon, and what followed over the last decade has been more fruitful and memorable than we ever could have imagined.
For ten years, we`ve been honored to be a home base for travelers visiting Louisville, Kentucky and exploring the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. We`ve shared home-cooked breakfasts, thoughtful conversations, bourbon expertise, handcrafted drinks, warm hospitality, and a cozy, beautiful space where people could truly exhale at the end of their day.
We`ve had the privilege of witnessing so many important moments-anniversaries, honeymoons, birthdays, reunions, engagements-and everything from spontaneous gtawasys to once-in-a-lifetime trips. Those memories are the heart of why we do what we do.
